Come una gigantesca spirale di colori, Los Angeles, è una metropoli che cattura dentro di sé arte e design miscelandoli al punto giusto per creare posti unici e in continua evoluzione. Partiamo dalla costa e inoltriamoci nel famoso design district di Santa Monica, dove i piu famosi showroom di design attirano i buyer e i visitatori piu attenti alle novita del settore e portano con sé anche una notevole quantita di artisti e giornalisti interessati ai celebri musei, gallerie d’arte e alle installazioni di arte pubblica che creano un’atmosfera vivace e frizzante a duecento metri dal mare. Continuiamo il nostro percorso attraverso il design moderno spostandoci nel punto in cui Melrose Avenue incontra Robertson Boulevard, un incrocio in cui le insegne ci suggeriscono che siamo arrivati al West Hollywood Design District. Tra lussuosi showroom e piccoli angoli che nascondono i caffè e i ristorantini più chic della città, ci ritroviamo davanti al Pacific Design Center, la risorsa principale di tutta la costa occidentale e vetrina di numerosi eventi di beneficienza che richiamano tutta la crew artistica di Los Angeles e non solo. Ma se davvero vogliamo camminare anche “sopra” l’arte dobbiamo andare dritti verso Downtown, in cui ex edifici industriali e vecchi hangar, sono oggi spazi super cool, un esempio di coloratissima street art e la casa dei liberi pensatori e degli artisti visionari dell’ultimo momento. The place is also plenty of a significant amount of artists and journalists interested in famous museums, Art galleries and public art installations that create a vibrant and sparkling atmosphere really closed to the ocean. We continue our journey through the modern design and let us move where Melrose avenue meets Robertson Boulevard. The sign that we can see suggest us that we have arrived at the West Hollywood Design District. Among luxury showroom and small corners that hide the coffee stop and the little restaurants most chic of the city, we find ourselves in front of the Pacific Design Center. This building is the main resource of the entire west coast and showcase many charity events that recall the whole artistic crew of  Los Angeles and beyond. But if we really want to walk even "above" the art, we  must go straight to Downtown, in which former industrial buildings and old hangar  have become super cool space today. An example of a colorful street art and the home of the free thinkers and visionaries artist of the modern age.
